Their burning engine is incorporated into other products, such as DVDFab software.
[edit] Products
The company's most well-known product is ConvertXtoDVD. This software converts and burns various video formats to the DVD standard. The program is user-friendly with a simple interface although advanced features such as adding subtitles and creating menus are available. ConvertXtoDVD was originally called DivXtoDVD.[1] This software allows users to watch video downloaded from the internet or recorded on a camcorder to play on a standard DVD player.
Other VSO programs include
- CopyToDVD an all-in-one DVD backup tool for data, pictures and music
- PhotoDVD which creates DVD slideshows from photos with music, text and special effects
- Blindwrite a program that writes to recordable CDs.
VSO Software has also released the freeware Image Resizer, a tool to resize, compress, convert, copy, import or organize photos. Commercial products also have a free trial version for evaluation.
[edit] Controversy
ConvertXtoDVD is listed on FFmpeg's Hall of Shame indicating that it is violating FFmpeg's license terms.[2]
